How to Start Working With Proficio Design Services, LLC

I want to make getting started as simple as possible for you. To that end, I am recommending the following courses of action depending on the level of our relationship:

  • Potential Customer
  • New Customer
  • Returning Customer

If you are considering me for a contract, please feel free to use the format that makes your life the most simple:

  • E-mail or phone me for a face-to-face meeting where we can discuss your needs in person. At this meeting I will ask to:
    • see a sample set of deliverables (prints, data CDs,,,)
    • know what output files are required (STP, DXF, IGES,,,)
  • E-mail or phone me to arrange a conference call. You are welcome to have as many people as you deem necessary on your end and I will dedicate as much time to the meeting as you need to get a clear understanding of who you are working with and what you are getting if you decide to go forward with my services. I will still need to see the expected deliverables prior to the meeting time.
  • E-mail a form or simple request for more information on my services or abilities. Please be specific with questions so I can provide the appropriate information with the first response.
 

During this meeting we will need to discuss payment, payment terms, worksite locations (my office or yours), and worksite equipment (mine or yours).My rate is project and situation dependant but will be billed bi-weekly with terms of Net 30. I will provide my Tax ID number as part of a Purchase Order Confirmation which will reiterate the payment and payment terms.

 

After we have been through the familiarity exercises listed in the "Potential Customer" section, and you are ready to contract with me, I have a small list of things that have to happen so that I can get started on your project. That is follows:

  • Electronic copy of your Purchase Order showing:
    • Payment Terms (Net 30)
    • Proficio Quote Number
    • Generic project description
    • Required date of completion
  • Reference files will be required either on a disk, thumb drive, or electronicallyvia FTP or e-mail - quoted time frame does not start until these files are received by me.
  • Contact information for my primary and secondary points of contact throughout the project (phone numbers, e-mail addresses, and fax numbers)

Upon receipt of the Purchase Order I will reply with a confirmation which is my commitment to you that the project will be completed properly and on-time. Please compare this confirmation with your PO as there is a small chance that your requested timing cannot be met, or that I have made a mistake on my confirmation. This confirmation will be sent via e-mail to you and any other contacts that you specify as contact points for me inside of your company.

Returning customers do not need to call for the inital meeting (I call it the Familiarity Meeting). We can proceed directly to the PO portion of the project.
